This amazing organization saves the lives of hundreds of abandoned doxies each year, pulling dogs of all ages from shelters and elsewhere.  DARE volunteers scramble to find temporary homes, address medical needs, and shower the dogs with care until a loving adopter and Forever Home is found.  DARE offers water & dog treats at the 'Fest but donations, volunteers and adopters are needed year-round!

One of the original and remaining La Cage Aux Folles-style bars on Ocean Drive, The Palace has supported the Winterfest since its inception and holds a festive Before During & After Party each year.  Don't miss the dogs adorning the outdoor bar as well as their Winterfest drink menu, which includes such specials as the Bloody Catfight Mary and Weenie Martini.
